Withdrawal Policy

The Journal of Philosophy and Social Science (JPSS) recognizes that authors may request withdrawal of their manuscripts under certain circumstances. Authors are permitted to withdraw their manuscript at any stage before it enters the editorial evaluation or review process by submitting a formal written request to the editorial office.

Once the manuscript has entered the editorial assessment, review process, or production stage, withdrawal requests will only be considered under exceptional circumstances and must be approved by the editorial board. Authors must provide a valid reason for the withdrawal request.

If a manuscript is withdrawn after significant editorial processing, review, or acceptance, the journal reserves the right to apply administrative charges due to the time and resources invested in the evaluation and processing of the submission.

After an article has been published online, it cannot be withdrawn. In such cases, if serious ethical or factual issues are identified, the journal may issue a correction, retraction, or editorial notice in accordance with standard academic publishing practices.

By submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Philosophy and Social Science, authors agree to comply with this withdrawal policy and acknowledge the editorial procedures followed by the journal.
